For 826 Chicago's second annual "Who Wants Love" print show fundraiser, I illustrated an interpretation of a student's poem. Please enjoy, it is a heartbreaker:
We Two by Dakiri M, grade 8
We are like two notes from the same R&B song.
We are like everlasting characters whose days will be long.
We are two people who both like pizza.
We both stand tall and are comparable to the pyramids in Giza.
Hopefully, one day, we will not fall.
We are two people who suck at basketball.
We are two social networks who are always competing.
But sooner or later I will find out that you were cheating.
