Goodnight Moon revisited
So this is in no way a recent project. Back in the spring of 2009, two dear friends were about to burst with newborns. Both ladies served as mentors and friends, and the impending arrival of their daughters was so exciting. Because I respond best to projects I can invest myself in, I decided to overlap a semester final with my "Welcome to the world little girls!"
Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown has long been a favorite in my family, and it was a joy to revisit. It's in no way a portfolio-quality piece, but a personal one I wanted to keep track of.
